Back believes Bitcoin work-of-proof consensus mechanism tested over more than a decade provides stronger security guarantees than emerging DeFi protocols. He pointed to frequent hacks and exploit incidents in the DeFi space as evidence of decentralized finance security challenges.
In contrast the Bitcoin network has maintained a record of zero successful breaches proving the superiority of its security design. Back advised investors to prioritize fundamental asset security while pursuing high returns.
