International Expedition Arrives at Crab-Infested Niue Island in Renewed Search for Amelia Earhart's Final Resting Place
A joint expedition of international researchers and deep-sea engineers arrived at Niue Island in the South Pacific on October 12 to launch a new search for Amelia Earhart’s Electra, applying satellite imagery analysis, deep-tow sonar and shallow sediment sampling in a coordinated land-sea investigation.
