Nintendo announced price increases for the Switch 2 console on Friday, becoming the third major hardware maker to raise prices after Sony’s PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox. The company cited rising manufacturing costs as the primary driver.

Sony and Microsoft had previously increased console prices due to component costs and tariff pressures. Nintendo had attempted to hold prices steady but ultimately followed suit.
